The chairman of the World Holocaust Remembrance Center has accused Elon Musk of insulting victims of Nazism after the billionaire told a German far-right political party that the country needed to “move beyond” the “guilt” of the past.

The site of the former Auschwitz death camp marks 80 years since it was liberated by Soviet troops during World War Two. Nazi-German forces murdered 1.1 million people at that site. Elon Musk is now being criticized for saying that German's need to move beyond the guilt of the country's Nazi past at a far-right rally.
