On Friday, 17 million people are under flood alerts across the Gulf Coast and in the mid-Atlantic, and 19 million are under heat alerts across the mid-Atlantic, southern Florida and Mississippi Valley.
"Flood waters have receded. Flooding is no longer expected to pose a threat. Please continue to heed remaining road closures," according to the National Weather Service.
A flash flood warning was released by the NWS Blacksburg VA on Saturday at 5:41 p.m. in effect until 11:45 p.m. for Caswell and Rockingham counties.
At 11:58 a.m. on Friday, the NWS San Diego CA released an updated flash flood warning in effect until 2 p.m. for San Bernardino County.
On Thursday at 11:02 p.m. the National Weather Service issued an updated flood warning in effect until Saturday at 2:42 p.m. The warning is for Jackson, Lafayette and Ray counties.

The NWS Wakefield VA released an updated flash flood warning at 10:09 p.m. on Friday in effect until Saturday at 12:15 a.m. for Gates and Hertford counties.
