While the actual temperature will reach 93 today, the “feels-like” heat index temperature is predicted to reach 107 in West Palm Beach, and 109 in Immokalee. The advisory is in effect for all of South Florida except for coastal Collier County and mainland Monroe County.

The sweltering summer weather persists across South Florida, as forecasters have issued a heat advisory for Saturday in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties. Temperatures are expected to feel as hot as 109 degrees.

The National Weather Service in Melbourne has issued a Heat Advisory for most of Florida, including Walt Disney World Resort and Universal Orlando Resort. Florida Heat Advisory Central Florida was under an Extreme Heat Warning yesterday.
