Marcus Rashford will be playing UEFA Champions League football after all, as Barcelona have announced a loan deal with Manchester United for the 2025-26 season.

Barcelona president Joan Laporta has admitted that his head coach, Hansi Flick, demanded more fire-power this summer which ultimately led to Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford joining on loan.

It was purchased by YouTuber Mat Armstrong and his video about buying the car went viral, attracting more than five million views. It led to Rashford's team getting in touch and offering to help him to restore it to its state before the collision. Mat was offered a host of the car's parts which had been in a lock-up after the incident.

Barcelona hero Rivaldo has questioned their deal for Manchester United attacker Marcus Rashford. Rashford has joined Barca on a season-long loan with an option to buy for a mooted €35m. For his part, Ballon d'Or winner Rivaldo has doubts about the wisdom of the deal.
