WASHINGTON — A large furniture chain announced the closure of all of its locations nationwide earlier this month, including many in Virginia and one in Maryland. American Freight has already begun closing down its 328 locations and its online warehouse.

Store closing sales have begun in-store and online, with discounts of up to 30% off the lowest ticketed prices.

A furniture and appliance store is closing all of its locations across the United States, including four in Colorado. Closing sales began last week.

The store closing announcement comes days after American Freight's parent company announced restructuring as part of a bankruptcy filing.

An Ohio-based furniture retailer is shutting down for good, closing doors at all locations across the nation. As it closes, the company promises slashed prices and deep discounts as they work to get rid of inventory.

A now-bankrupt furniture store is closing all of its roughly 370 locations across the country, including seven in the Valley. American Freight, an Ohio-based appliance and furniture store said the closures were due to financial problems incurred because of “sustained inflation and macroeconomic challenges facing the large durable goods sector,
