There are still five conference championship games before the NCAA releases the real bracket and four of those games could cause a change in the final bracket this afternoon. The most potentially impactful of those is the American Athletic Conference title game between top-seed Memphis and No.

The 2025 NCAA Tournament field was announced on Sunday. Arizona has two teams in the March Madness bracket, with Arizona making the field as an at-large from the Big 12 and Grand Canyon in the NCAA bracket as the WAC champion. Auburn, Florida, Duke and Houston are the four No. 1 seeds in the NCAA Tournament bracket, which includes 68 teams.

After losing their final three games of the regular season, they responded with wins over No. 20 Purdue and No. 11 Maryland to reach the conference title game, putting them in position to likely earn a No. 4 or No. 3 seed, according to ESPN and CBS Sports’ bracketology.

A historically dominant season from the SEC could mean as many as 14 teams end up making the field of 68 in the 2025 NCAA Tournament, and two of those teams are projected No. 1 seeds.  No. 1 overall should be Auburn,

The field of 68 is officially set. March Madness will tip off this week with plenty of local representation. Among the teams to follow are Texas Tech, Texas A&M and Baylor. Each of these teams enters the NCAA Tournament with experience battling on the sport’s biggest stages.

Maryland men’s basketball earned a No. 4 seed and will face No. 13 seed Grand Canyon in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Friday in Seattle.
