Church Brothers Farms has recalled the vegetables that were sold in stores across Alabama, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, New York, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and Virginia.

Green onions by Church Brothers are being recalled in 11 U.S. states and Canada after salmonella was found in a product sample.

The contaminated green onions were sold at Trader Joe’s in Washington, D.C. and the following 28 states: No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this recall. The recalled green onions have a “pack date” of Sept. 25, that is listed on the packaging.

The fresh produce item sold at Trader Joe's just tested positive for an infection-causing bacteria, spurring a recall.
