It's worth noting that Philadelphia traded last year's second-string quarterback, Kenny Pickett, to the Cleveland Browns for quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson and a fifth-round pick. In the 2025 NFL Draft, they took Syracuse passer Kyle McCord in Round 6. Both made cameos in Thursday's 34-27 win, although neither left much of an impression.

Tanner McKee entered the season as the QB2 behind Jalen Hurts, and came in high regards from the Eagles quarterback and coaching staff. Seeing McKee shine against NFL defenses isn't surprising given how he performed in a Week 18 start last year against the Giants, but the Eagles' second-string signal caller torched the Bengals' first-team defense.

McKee continues to deliver when given a chance to play, and this time he did it he facing a Bengals team that briefly played its starters.
