The battle over mid-decade redistricting in Texas -- where the state’s congressional lines could be redrawn well ahead of the upcoming census -- continues Monday.

Members of the Texas House of Representatives will attempt once again to meet a quorum Monday, more than a week into a standoff after Democrats left the state to block a GOP-led redistricting effort.

Texas Republicans are trying to reconvene the state Legislature to vote on redrawing congressional maps in their party’s favor.
