California Republican Doug LaMalfa shrugged off the boos and jeers by asking a constituent if they wanted to “talk about something productive.”

At his first in-person town hall since Trump’s megabill became law, Republican Rep. Doug LaMalfa largely defended his vote for the legislation while fielding expletive-laden questions from a hostile crowd.

LaMalfa calmly addressed audience members throughout both town halls, even as some attendees cursed at him and railed against his support of the president, shouting “Liar!”
