The National Weather Service issued a Tornado Watch for eastern Oklahoma, including Tulsa, and in northeast Texas, including the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The tornado threat continues into the evening for the third day in a row across the Southern Plains.

A tornado watch is in effect for most of North Texas, including the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, until 6 p.m. Monday.

At least 11 people were injured Sunday morning and about 100 homes were damaged or destroyed when multiple tornadoes swarmed the Oklahoma City area. Officials issued tornado warnings Sunday, including one for the University of Oklahoma's Norman campus.

According to the Oklahoma City Police Department, the pursuit ended near SW 44th St. and May Ave. around 1 a.m. The pursuit ended in a crash leading to a car fire. One person was taken into custody and no injuries have been reported.
