LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Firefighters fought a corn-field fire near Vala’s Pumpkin Patch & Apple Orchard on Sunday. According to Rod Buethe, Gretna Fire Chief, the fire started at around 2 p.m. one-fourth a mile west of Vala’s. Buethe said the fire was on Vala’s property.
