CONWAY, Ark. – A black bear was seen in a tree in Conway Thursday morning. City officials said they received reports of a baby black bear in a tree near Harkrider Street and Oak Street.

Along with teddy bears, the cub’s enclosure is also filled with donated furs, black bear-scented hay, trees and plenty of places for him to climb and hide to simulate a den, Welch said.

The bear was seen in Lone Tree and in the backyard of an Arapahoe County home before an Aurora resident saw it near the 27500 block of East Elmhurst Place on Saturday.
