Hundreds of CVS pharmacies are set to close in 2025, the national drug store chain confirmed last week, as part of an ongoing effort to "realign" the company's retail footprint.

CVS is shutting down even more stores amid ongoing nationwide closures. Five stores in New York will be shuttered this year as part of its sweeping plan to close 271 locations across the country in 2025.
