The New York Jets signed Justin Fields to a two-year deal, but the franchise might not be thinking the former first-rounder is the long-term solution.

The New York Jets have signed veteran wide receiver Josh Reynolds to a one-year deal for $5 million providing Justin Fields with a weapon.

The New York Jets are reportedly not expected to use the No. 7 overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft on a quarterback. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported Thursday that he gets the sense the Jets "probably will not" use their top-10 selection on the quarterback position: Rapoport added that he expects the Jets to try to use the draft as a means of building around quarterback Justin Fields,
