Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth’s office confirms that his younger brother is serving in a key position inside the Pentagon as a Department of Homeland Security liaison and senior adviser.

Hegseth, you’ll recall, has been charged by Trump to rid the armed services of all diversity, equity and inclusion — even firing the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, who is Black, because he promoted progressive policies. Hegseth has insisted that all hiring should be done on merit.
