It’s been my limited experience watching them that soccer games (football matches?) go on forever. Far too long. And, I’ve noticed, because of something called “stoppage time,” no one seems to really know when they are going to end.

After a season 3 finale that left open plenty of possibilities for a return, it’s now confirmed: Ted Lasso is coming back. The Apple TV Plus sitcom is getting a fourth season, though it appears to be still fairly early in development.

Actor Jason Sudeikis, the star of “Ted Lasso," hinted that the new episodes for the upcoming season “would be about taking chances."
