Multiple people have reportedly been killed after a car drove into a group of people in Louisiana in the early hours of New Year's Day, according to a local news. At around 3:15 a.m. in New Orleans, the vehicle, described as an SUV, drove into pedestrians at the intersection between Bourbon Street and Iberville, wgno reported.

"There has been a mass casualty incident on Canal and Bourbon Street. Get yourself away from the area," NOLA Ready announced on X. The number of victims involved in the incident is unknown.

A major highway in Sacramento has completely reopened, following a multi-vehicle crash Tuesday evening. The incident was first reported around 4:49 p.m. on U.S. 50 near Stockton Boulevard. According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash involved at least five vehicles. One person was transported to the hospital for pain.
