The sweltering summer weather persists across South Florida, as forecasters have issued a heat advisory for Saturday in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties. Temperatures are expected to feel as hot as 109 degrees.

While the actual temperature will reach 93 today, the “feels-like” heat index temperature is predicted to reach 107 in West Palm Beach, and 109 in Immokalee. The advisory is in effect for all of South Florida except for coastal Collier County and mainland Monroe County.
