That's when a donation came in from actress Kristen Bell. The "Frozen" and Netflix star donated nearly $25,000 to put Murilo Romao over his $50,000 goal. The battle is not over, but the Romaos now have a much-needed moment to relax.

Minnesota residents of eight years, Romão and his wife Alana are self-employed and do not have health insurance, so they turned to their community for help, launching a GoFundMe that met its goal last week thanks to a $24,182 donation from actor Kristen Bell.

Bell had recently teamed up with social media star Quentin Quarantino to raise more than $100K to help pay off people's medical bills.
