BOSTON — Joe Mazzulla is sticking around Causeway Street for the foreseeable future. The Celtics announced Friday that they had signed the NBA championship-winning head coach to a multi-year contract extension. In a team-released statement, Mazzulla said the extension is “truly a blessing.”

Having led the Boston Celtics to the most wins in the regular season over the past three seasons and an NBA title during the 2023-24 campaign, head coach Joe Mazzulla has received a new contract from the club.
