It’s not even the delays. It’s Frontier’s shamefully underhanded manner of handling operations when things go wrong. Frontier is the ONLY airline that will not pay for any overnight accommodation for significant delays. Frontier’s sole DOT commitment to passengers is to provide meal compensation for significant delays.

Frontier airlines is now strictly enforcing their personal and carry on bag size policy at the gate. All three times I have been through DIA flying frontier recently they have sized every single person’s bag on the way onto the aircraft.

Sure, other airlines cancel flights but Frontier lies to us and does everything they can to not give us refunds or vouchers. Frontier *wants* you to miss your flight, so they can keep your money, give your seat to someone else, and then you possibly you buy another ticket from them. Frontier is a very evil scammy company.

Jul 5, 2023 · Frontier is one of the only airlines that actually cares about bag sizes, and that hurts a populace that has been conditioned not to worry about it. The major airlines also list bag size requirements for carry-on bags, for example. But I've never seen any of them enforce those size requirements except in egregious examples.

Mar 19, 2024 · Think about it this way, the GWP is a way for Frontier to possibly fill seats that otherwise would go empty on these flights. Nope, one day means one day. (It's not technically 24 hours, I've seen folks book tickets at 3am ET for a flight at 10pm ET the next day.)

Jan 2, 2012 · Apart from Frontier's 30 or so 580s (ex-340/440s), shouldn't overlook the 11 Convair 600s (R-R Dart conversion of the original Convair 240 which couldn't handle the power of the Allison 501) that Frontier inherited when they merged with Fort Worth-based Central Airlines in 1967. Frontier didn't keep the -600s very long.

Frontier reserves the first two overhead bins (which extend to row 4) for the personal items and carry-ons of passengers in the first row. I just flew with them and despite booking row 3 and boarding early, I found the overhead space filled up to row 7, including by passengers seated further back on the plane.
