Picked this up at an Aldi's in Florida while on a trip. I can't fault it too much considering the low cost - 2 L for $6 (4 500mL cans). The appearance is excellent. I wish there was a little more aroma, but what I'm getting smells like a German pilsner malt. The taste is dry and refreshing, which makes the mouthfeel refreshing as well.

The owner of Octopi was previously co-owner of 5 Rabbit in Chicago, before being booted amid a slew of lawsuits.

May 17, 2024 · Overall, I Would say that Aldi contracted an approximate stand-in (not exactly a clone) of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. Same ABV, Similar looks, and somewhat similar flavor...and a fitting name. And a couple bucks cheaper for the 12 pack. It's not SNPA--it lacks the raw energy and depth of a bottle-conditioned American pale ale--but it's not bad ...

Purchased as a six-pack of 12oz bottles from Aldi for $7.99. Poured into a nonic pint glass. L - Clear pale yellow, with a one-finger pale white head. Head retains relatively well over time. S - Light toast. Biscuit. A bit floral. T - Matches nose exactly. More bready than I expected. A bit on the sweet side. Light grain finish.

A new one to me from the beer section at Aldi, this one a bit peculiar, notably the fake brewery name as part of the beer's title. Wild Range Brewing Company IPA seems to be the name, my bottle brewed & bottled by Rock Wall Brewing Company, out of Rochester, NY.

Taste is pretty much just like the aroma, but there's also a bit of nuttiness noticeable in the flavor too. Mouthfeel/body is light/medium, it's a bit smooth and creamy with a moderate amount of carbonation. I liked this brew overall, for the price I really can't complain at $7.99 a six pack, Aldi USA purchase. Worth a try if you come across some!

440ml can from Aldi supermarket (£1.79): Hazy golden & a 2.5cm, foamy head on top. Tropical & pine hops, orange peel & citrus but not overly pronounced. There's pine hops with the taste, citrus & mango with a little grapefruit bitterness too. It's well-carbonated, bitter & fairly refreshing too.

12 oz. bottle, no date, but these just hit shelves a week or so ago. Another find from the Aldi beer shelf. A: Darker than it's regular and hazy counterparts, that's for sure. Very burnt sienna colored. Small half-finger of khaki / off-white head. Appears well carbonated and leaves some ok lacing behind. S: Aroma is slightly boozy, fruity, fumey.
