We had JUST started integrating our newest alpaca boys with our main herd when Neptune developed an eye ulcer. 🤦🏻‍♀️ These are incredibly common in alpacas because of their enormous eyes, and we’ve experienced a few this year unfortunately, but Neptune’s is also paired with an abscess right under his eye which complicates the situation.
