What happens after harvesting chestnut burs? Our amazing Meadowview Farm staff, National staff, and VA-TACF volunteers shuck the chestnut burs to collect the seeds. Once the seeds have been counted, they get bagged up with a scoop of peat moss and stored in a refrigerator until spring!
