The Transport Department says it hopes South Africa's only driving licence card printer will be back in service after breaking down in January. Officials say the machine stopped working more than three months ago, causing a major backlog across the country. Department spokesperson Collen Msibi says in the meantime, motorists must carry their expired licence when driving, and proof that they've applied for a new one.
