The Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians helped close tonight's #CherokeeDays reception at the Smithsonian's National Museum of the American Indian with a social dance featuring the three Cherokee tribes and visitors. Today the council from the Cherokee Nation, United Keetowah Band of Cherokee Indians and the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians gathered on the site of the Kituwah mound in Cherokee,N.C. for the official meeting of Tri-Council.
