Here’s how I add handles to my mugs… First, I score all the mugs… I do each step in batches. It’s much more efficient than doing each handle one by one. I make a batch of handle blanks and I let them stiffen up a bit. But I still want them nice and soft. It helps the drying even out if the handles are attached slightly wetter than the mug body. I splay out one end gently with my thumb. I’ll add some slip to the scored area on the mug then roughly attach the handle. I’ll make sure each one is att
