Los Angeles County Fire Department with assistance from Los Angeles FD Air Operations, LA County Animal control & a veterinarian from the DART team responded to a horse that had fallen approximately 150 feet into a ravine near Little Tujunga. Camp crew members cleared a large amount of brush with hand tools to allow the #LACoFD Urban Search & Rescue Team & rescuers to make its way to the animal. With guidance from the veterinarian the animal was sedated & properly secured for a hoist operation.
