Representatives from Barbados’ eleven parishes are taking to the stage this evening for the Spirit of the Nation Show at the Garfield Sobers Complex. Churches across Barbados, including St Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church at Jemmotts Lane, St Michael, have commenced their Good Friday services. As part of their long-standing tradition, members of the congregation began their Stations of the Cross procession around 6 a.m., making their way through nearby communities such as Wellington Street and Nelson Street.
