Reading and Northern 2102 is a loud steam locomotive! Here, it prepares to depart with its Iron Horse Rambles train to Jim Thorpe from Reading Outer Station. As it begins to depart steam is blasted through the cylinder cocks to get rid of any condensation that built up in the cylinders while the locomotive was at rest. The hissing was loud it made my ears pop as the steam engulfed the railfans along the photo line! Also, I’m doing a bit of an experiment with this, right after this, I’m uploading
