Have you ever wondered what a mountain lion sounds like? Mountain lions tend to make very little noise in the woods. But when they do, they most often make a chirping sound that can sound similar to a person whistling or a bird chirping. Other sounds mountain lions make can include purrs, hisses, growls and even startling screams.
