Cobh Heritage Centre in Cobh, Ireland

While at the Cobh Heritage Centre on Thursday, Nine Ships 1825 Vice Chair Mary Smith presented a plaque to Breda Keane Shortt, Director of Operations and Strategy at the Centre in commemoration of the Bicentennial of the Peter Robinson Emigration and the special bond that exists between Cobh and Peterborough, the places where the emigrants left their old life in Ireland behind to begin their new one in Canada.
