It is week 3 of my 52 Essentail Embroidery Stitches sampler. This week we are looking at Laid Work, this is sometimes known as Bayeux Stitch. It is used to cover large areas quickly, with minimal thread on the reverse of the stitch. This one has been shaded in assorted colours! 🌈 I am getting very carried away with how many stitch samples I am creating for my Jacobean Stitches.
