A California police union released bodycam footage they say shows an incident where a Cal State Long Beach professor accuses of a campus police officer of racial profiling on May 25. The sociology professor said he locked his keys in his room and asked the officer to open the door for him. The officer asked for identification and the professor was unable to provide it, stating he recently lost his campus ID.
