Friends, a few years ago, I was giving a talk to deacons about prayer, and I met Shia LaBeouf, who was staying with the Capuchin Friars at the time. In summer 2022, he invited me back to Santa Inés for a screening of “Padre Pio,” and shortly thereafter, we discussed the deep impact the Capuchin Friars, Catholic Mass, and Padre Pio had on him.
